Ready to dive into some excellent reads?
When I was a little girl, whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to be, I inherently knew: a writer. And when my high school English teacher shared this quote by Madeleine L'Engle with me, I realized something else: I wanted to be a good writer. I wanted to ask those questions that people cannot evade.
"Why do you write?" is such a complex question, with so many facets. But when I break it down, it comes out to this: no matter what I write, no matter if it is an explicitly Christian devotion or a mermaid story, there is faith in it. There is hope. There are messages to be gleaned. Everyone from Luke Skywalker in a galaxy far, far, away to a princess with a talking snowman can teach us a little bit more about God, if we only let them.
And that, dear reader, is why I write.
